Mandarins in the fresh produce business would assemble in Berlin once again this year to take part in the Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading trade fair in the fruit industry.

At the Fruit Logistica, 2,595 exhibitors would be presenting their products.

Exhibitors from the following African countries, among others, have registered to participate in this year’s Fruit Logistica. They are Algeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, Uganda, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia,  and Uganda.

Among the items on the business calendar at the Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading trade show for the global fresh produce business, include issues surrounding data-driven supply chains, artificial intelligence, robotic automation, smart Agri, as well as other advanced systems that unlock new commercial opportunities.

At Fruit Logistica 2023, innovative companies will be presenting a wide range of digital solutions in the Smart Agri area. The Smart Agri area made its debut at last year’s Fruit Logistica.

What is Smart Agri? Smart Agri was a new innovation in the farming business that promotes the use of AI-enabled robotic harvesters (IAV), precision spray drones (ABZ Innovation), advanced watering concepts (Irriot and Toprag), and autonomous field vehicles (Ant Robotics).

The theme for the fourth Start-up Day is “Disrupt Agriculture”.

The Start-up Day at the Fruit Logistica represents a networking hub for ground-breaking innovations. At this year’s Fruit Logistica, it is estimated that 20 of the most innovative tech start-ups from around the world will show their products, projects and ideas in the Start-up Area.
