Germany’s largest congress on health, medicine and care will start in the German capital today at which mandarins in the health sector will gather to brainstorm on issues within the profession.
The Congress, 23 to 25 June 2026, will attract policymakers, managers of health insurance funds, healthcare providers, associations as well as the business sector.
Among the major highlight on the business calendar at the congress is the opening ceremony featuring Germany’s Federal Minister of Health, Nina Warken who would be joined by and her counterpart, from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Sophie Hermans.
The Capital Congress has always been a platform for healthy debate with several congresses running parallel. These include, the Healthcare Management Congress, the Forum on Medicine and Innovations, the Capital City Forum on Health Policy, and Satellite Symposia, a special congress format that thematically complements the main congress programme.
The Congress spans multiple professional disciplines that bring together four specialist events under one umbrella, namely, the Capital City Forum on Health Policy, the Health Management Congress, the Nursing management Congress and the Forum on Medicine and Innovation.
The congress rests on four key pillars such as the Forum on Cutting-Edge Medicine and Insurance Day making the Capital Congress (Hauptstadtkongress) the only event in Germany that facilitates direct, immediate dialogue and the exchange of information among all relevant decision-makers and healthcare providers.
