International Green Week, a global agricultural exhibition for the food industry, agriculturists and horticulturists will open its doors from 17 to 26 January 2025 at the Belin exhibition grounds.
The 10-day fair will serve as a meeting point for potential trading partners, end-users, trade visitors and the general public.
Green Week, the 89th in the series, will show-case the multifaceted platform at which a variety of products from different regions of the world will be displayed.
Visitors will be treated to a taste of current developments in the global food trade.
International Green Week 2025 will serve as a platform for experts to work together on solutions for a sustainable future within all sectors of agricultural.
What is unique about the International Green Week was that it serves as a magnet, attracting international experts to Berlin.
An example of such expert gathering is the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA), which will open its doors for the 17th time. Under the motto: “Shaping a sustainable bio-economy”, the GFFA will in 2025 brainstorm on the future of food and agriculture
The GFFA will bring together around 2,000 politicians with experts fron science, business and civil society to workout solutions for future food security.
As in previous occasions, the political highlight is the Berlin Agricultural Ministers’ Conference which is expected to attract over 70 agricultural ministers from around the world. The event is organized by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).
