A Ghanaian parliamentarian, Kennedy Agyapong, has indicated that the Inspector General of Police in Ghana was aware of the murderers of J.B. Danquah Adu, a New Patriotic Party member of Parliament for the Abuakwa North constituency.
According to Mr Agyapong, the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, was the officer leading the investigations into the circumstances of J.B. Danquah’s murder.
A suspect currently on remand, Daniel Asiedu, also known as Sexy Don Don, says that Kennedy Agyapong and two others, namely one Mr Ofori and Mr Adotey, gave him the contract to kill J.B. Danquah.
