Three of Nigeria’s top diplomats in Europe have officially confirmed their attendance at the 2026 Nollywood Film Festival Germany (NFFG) and the Nollywood Europe Golden Awards (NEGA) Gala-Nite in Frankfurt am Main.
The high-profile confirmation emerged during a meeting with Nigerian community leaders hosted by Dr. Yakubu A. Dadu, the Consul General of Nigeria in Frankfurt.
Heavyweight Guest List
This year’s cultural showcase will feature an elite delegation of diplomatic and political figures:
- Senator Ambassador Ita Enang: Nigeria’s newly appointed Ambassador to Germany.
- Ambassador Dr. Yakubu A. Dadu: Consul General of Nigeria in Frankfurt am Main.
- Ambassador Wahab Akande: Nigeria’s newly appointed Ambassador to France (and former Frankfurt Consul General).
- Hon. Christopher Okaeben: Edo State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy.
- Hon. Dr. Omorede Osifo: Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Women Mobilization.
- Hon. Justice Peter Kekemeke and his wife, Rose Kekemeke.

Festival Director Isaac Izoya confirmed that all international stars have successfully secured their visas, moving event preparations into the final stages.
Organizers are teasing this 2026 edition as the largest in the festival’s history. The massive star power and diplomatic backing solidify the NFFG and NEGA Gala as Europe’s premier platforms for celebrating African cinematic excellence.
