The 62nd edition of Berlin’s famous pre-Christmas shopping extravaganza will kick off today, 6 to 10 November, under the motto “Shopping like on vacation”.

Messe Berlin, the main organizers of the event expects exhibitors from over 60 countries from all continents of the world.

At what has been dubbed as “Germany’s most international sales fair”, Bazaar Berlin also serves as a “colourful marketplace” show-casing works of art, crafts, design, natural products as well as fair trade and socially produced handicrafts.

Among the items on the business calendar of Bazaar Berlin are workshops, fashion shows and the Carnival of Cultures, all geared by the organizers at offering visitors a special trade fair experience.

Esther Piehl, project manager of Bazaar Berlin, observed that “after the great success of the last Bazaar Berlin, we are looking forward to the 62nd edition with great anticipation.

“This year, guests can expect a varied mix of new and established exhibitors from all over the world, fashion shows, creative workshops, dance performances by the Carnival of Cultures and an informative educational program”, adding that there are many special treasures to discover over the five days of the fair – perfect for giving away or keeping.”

The magnificence of the fair is evident across the five halls it occupies and the theme worlds it offers to visitors.

At Bazaar Berlin, visitors will come face to face with unique handicrafts and typical products from different continents, making it one of the most innovative and culturally-oriented trade fair shows in the world.

The diversity of the African continent is the highlight of the theme Living Africa where African goods are on display in Hall 11.2. of the Berlin exhibition grounds.
