Well, Mr. Werley was born in Limbé but he was raised in Port-au-Prince, the Capital of Haiti. He believes in Humanism and he wants to be a contributor for a better Haiti before the year 2045 arrives by involving in politic because that would be the only way for him to save Haiti before it’s too late. He studied business administration and political science in the U.S. before moving to Canada because he wanted to become an Entrepreneur and a Politician to serve Haiti and Haitians, of course. During the year 2017, he founded   Vanyan Sòlda Ayiti, his own political party and movement that educate and encourage the youth to involve in activism and politic for a better Haiti.

26 years old leader, Werley Nortreus believes that the youth in Haiti and the upcoming generations should see him as a role model so they can have the same mindset and behave exactly like him. He uses his music and books to speak positive messages so the world can become a better place. He released two books so far and they are very popular. For years, he has contributed towards political movements and activism, include ‘Haitians Lives Matter’ and ‘Black Lives Matter’ movements. Those movements have contributed strong messages about discrimination and racism, especially towards black people in America and around the world. He hopes to inspire many people along his journey to make the world a happier and healthier place to live.

“I’ve always wanted to become a respected leader to prove the people who criticize and doubt me wrong, just like Martin Luther King Jr. did.”, said Werley Nortreus, the founder of Haitians Lives Matter and Vanyan Sòlda Ayiti.

According to reports, the 26 years old leader, Werley Nortreus went to Haiti’s most respected schools only before he came to the U.S. after the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. Unfortunately, he survived and experienced a major earthquake that killed more than 300 thousand people and destroyed cities across Haiti. The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake, with an epicenter near the town of Léogâne and approximately 25 kilometers west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital. The earthquake occurred at 16:53 local time on Tuesday, 12 January 2010.

“Out of nowhere, we heard a big boom, then the house started shaking from left to right then collapsed. After the earthquake, I saw bodies in the streets, buildings went down, there was darkness because there was no electricity at all. My family and I became homeless, we spent months sleeping in the streets with strangers. My family and I moved to the Dominican Republic to escape the pain and misery. From there we went to the U.S. to seek a better life.”, said Werley Nortreus, during an interview with WLRN Sundial.

Years later, Werley moved on and got his life together, even when he will never forget that earthquake. He didn’t stay down after what he experienced during the Earthquake, but he said Haiti is still the same, nothing is changed because of the wrong leaders that the Haitians elected during elections time. From the results of bad leadership in the Haitian Government, some major news media in the U.S. like CNN think Haitians across Haiti will face a deadly hunger crisis in 2020, but he thinks otherwise. To him, the crisis that’s coming will vanish if the current Haitian Government led by President Jovenel Moise and PHTK step down so an honest leader can lead the country in the right direction before it’s too late.

“As we all know that there are a lot of Chaos and Riots in Haiti from 2016 until today and the current Leader ‘Jovenel Moise’ and ‘PHTK’ leaders refused to step down, which is not good for the country because the protesters won’t give up the streets until they step down. Honestly, I, Werley Nortreus want to involve in politic in Haiti so I can put the country in the right path so the country can get its respect and dignity back from the elites who stole it.”, said Mr. Werley Nortreus.

From 2016 until today, according to reports from   Bon Déjeuner! Radio or BDR! Live, millions of protesters and political leaders have taken to the streets across Haiti to demand the resignation of President Jovenel Moise and PHTK but Mr. Jovenel Moise and PHTK refused to step down and demanded dialogue instead. From reports, Werley and other leaders from the opposition rejected dialogue then organized more protests and rallies against President Jovenel Moise and PHTK to deliver Haiti. According to a reporter from Zenith FM, the current Haitian Government led by President Jovenel Moise and PHTK want to stay in offices for 50 years but the Haitian population and Werley said they will not let that happen and they believe Haiti will never become a well-developed country if PHTK runs the offices for 50 years.

“I think the current President of Haiti Jovenel Moise should resign before more protests take place in 2020 because I realized that the Haitian population won’t stop protesting until he steps down along with his political party.”, said Mr. Werley Nortreus.

One of Werley greatest goals is to help his homeland earn the respect and position in the global community as viewed through his own eyes. His love and admiration for his home country are evident when you speak with him. Werley is proud to have been born and raised in Haiti, and the culture and its ethnicity mean everything to him.

According to reports, Werley has a deep passion to involve in politic in Haiti and for the right reasons. He hopes to become the President or King of Haiti in order to help Haiti get its respect and dignity back before the year 2045 arrives. Through his organizations as well as in his personal capacity, Werley has helped when natural calamities destroyed many human lives in Haiti. During 2020, he wants President Jovenel Moise to step down for an independent Government to lead Haiti in the right direction before it’s too late, that’s why he wants to run and hope for a nomination bid.

In January 2020, the 26 years old leader announced future nomination bid because he wants to put Haiti in the right direction before it’s too late.  During an interview with Kreol Magazine, Werley has 3 wishes, he wants a new Haiti, he hopes one day to become the President of Haiti, and he hopes one day Haiti will become one of the most powerful countries in the world.

“As a human being, I believe that I was created in order to value and love other humans like me. Humanism is the reason that I want to become the President of Haiti one day, in order to serve my country and serve other countries around the world.”, said Mr. Werley Nortreus.

He believes that the youth in Haiti and the upcoming generations should see him as a role model so they can have the same mindset and behave exactly like him. He uses his music and books to speak positive messages so the world can become a better place. Hopefully, the future Leader of Haiti believes that Haiti will get on its feet before the year 2045 once he takes offices.

“I would like to debate with Jovenel Moise”. Said Mr. Werley Nortreus.
